Finally! It’s a responsible owner 2wd V6 (vortech!) with Manuel transmission! I’m not holding my breath. I see it in person tomorrow and most likely will be buying it.
A short bed Chevy? With a manual? I is excited!
Edit: I kinda like the wheels. But some Chevy truck Rallys would be my first change.

It all looks good except the wheels and taillights

Truck looks nice aside from wheels and taillights, but I have to tell you, manuel is the best.

Minor issues.

I kinda like the wheels. I prefer the Chevy Truck 5 lug rally wheels. Plenty of time for that bs when I own it.

If it’s as rust free as it looks, very minor indeed the visor is kinda cool too

Alright. I’m not a fan of the Visor. But it stays. Thi..
Dammit. I can’t sleep now.

You had me at manual transmission. That’s all I needed to even know. Do it.

Right?
Crap.. I used “Right” as a question.

I don’t mind the lights. Wheels have to go.

I thought I’d found a 4.8V8 Silverado 4x4 manual in good shape once, only to find out the guy selling it was one of those people who never takes their ads down...
:(

How’s the manual? The 4.3L/2WD should be a good combo. I used to have an S10 with that drivetrain but auto. Was really solid. Plenty of pull. Dunno if the 1500 uses the same fuel pump, but that died on me with fairly low mileage. That was the only issue I had with it though.

GMT 400 fuel pumps die regularly with a 50-60k lifespan.

I recall r adding about it being a weak point. Mine went at like 65k and I didn’t keep it long enough for it to go again.

This pickup was awesome. It just didn’t work for me. It’s still available.
